SoCal

The past five days I have been stirred in a new way for what God is doing in Southern California. The love of God is greater and strong than anything I know. It is the foundation of redemption and the reason why God’s only Son, Jesus Christ, was sent!

I believe with all my heart that there is about to be an awakening on earth that no eye has ever seen before.  Everywhere I go I see the Holy Spirit preparing harvesters… A harvest is coming. Can’t you dream about it and see it? Thousands coming to the love and knowledge of Christ. Coming out of depression, self-hatred, fear, and entering into the freedom and liberation of Jesus. I am awe-struck of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We are bound to Him by His blood, forever sealed wit His promised Holy Spirit and delivered from the domain of darkness, this is good news. He has brought us into a kingdom of light and His banner over us is L O V E.

All this to say.. Awakening is coming to America.

All the Circuit Rider training schools start in less three weeks! First stop… Orlando, Florida!

I head out Tuesday May 22nd for a trip up to Albany, OR. This will be my first trip to Oregon! I am doing three worship nights with Michael and Angela Pinkston. This couple is amazing. I have never met two people that have such joy, devotion, simplicity and sincerity. Their love for God and people radiates in their lives. It overflows into powerful, culture-shifting music! The three worship nights will be recorded and placed into one album! I am so honored and excited to go be with them. This will be the first live Circuit Rider Album. Amy Sollars, leader of fire&fragrance, and Chloe Brennt will be joining in as well! I am super, super stoked for this event! I leave from there to head to Florida for the first of the five Circuit Rider schools!  Here we go!

Jesus…

Jesus…

I have been learning a lot about the power of Christ the past few months. How His Name is above every other and that He rose from the grave…DEFEATED death and reclaimed His bride by the blood. He is power, and He is love. Love and power fully immersed together create a fountain of life in my soul!

Endless love and infinite mercy. Redeemed by your grace, and living in your victory!

I was thinking about moments of crying out for peoples healings, breakthroughs, etc. and even though one may have not yet been healed, or the breakthrough still awaits, when someone encounters the true, raw, fierce LOVE of God, they can arise and trust in the POWER of His name. When you’re sinking in the love of God and allowing it to grip your heart, soul, and mind, the only option is to trust. We fall in love with His ways, we delight in His truth, we hunger for more of Him. God is good and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Every day we can see what God is doing all around us whether it be through a salvation, revelation, His presence, healing, a sign, a miracle, breakthrough, victory, love…OH! THE LIST GOES ON! Even with what my eyes get to see by the mercy of God every day, I can’t stop pondering and praying in child-like faith for an eruption of salvations and healings in America. Not a series of “feel-good” moments that come and go. But the love and power of Jesus Christ coming and taking our nation captive in His great grace and mercy. You can already see the first fruits! Every day I am so overwhelmed in the goodness of God of what He is doing in our nation. Hope fills our eyes and peace is our stronghold! There truly is no one like our God, OH BUT HOW I LONG to sit and fall onto the rhythm of your heartbeat and touch what you want to do in all the nations of the earth.

Lets all lift o…

Lets all lift o…

Lets all lift our voices and hearts to Jesus and contend for Christy Brennt’s healing in Jesus name. Psalm 18:19 “…He delivered me because He delighted in me…” We have hope, we have faith, we have all been changed forever by the love of God… Jesus we all stand in agreement for this healing!

Here is a note from the Brennt Family:

Dear Friends:

We would so appreciate your prayers for a sudden shift in Christy’s health.  Since October her health has radically declined with increasing pain through out her body.  There are times when the pain is so extreme that she cannot move or even talk.  We are experiencing a time like that right now.    There are days of relief that do come from time to time where she is able to participate with the family in a limited way but even then it is with the back drop of serious pain.   This year we have crossed over 32 years of constant illness for Christy.  It is amazing that she has been ill now for over three decades.

Christy daily sits in the presence of God praying for so many and asking God for the breakthrough of the Gospel with power.   We would not have made it this far without your prayers and words of encouragement.   Christy was able to make it on one trip this year to Lee University where we were meeting with students.  As she spoke to the students she led them in intercession for the release of field evangelism in America!  The release of countless souls to be saved by the Gospel.

The Senior Pastor of the Church of God who was hosting the gathering was so moved seeing Christy overcoming the pain she lives in that  he came up to her and with tears in his eyes said; “you are not to suffer like this anymore….its time for it to end.” He began to contend in prayer.  He told us the story that his church began many years ago through a tent revival.  I have had so many different Pastors and Ministry Leaders say this very thing to me.  Just last week in a meeting with another Senior Pastor I told the story of Christys illness.  This Pastor rose up in prayer and simply said; “it is time for this illness to end.”  He was so moved in prayer over the need for Gods power to be released in the Church to a whole new level.  I think this is the desire of God over so many in this hour.  I am convinced that Jesus is going to release a great anointing for the release of so many who are sick.  So many of you reading this letter believe the very same thing.

The prayer that contends for breakthrough will see victory!  We have all seen so many victory’s!   Will you contend once again that this illness would end.  Our family is so grateful.

The Wave

The Wave

I believe we are about to see a WAVE of God’s LOVE and POWER in America like we have never seen before! Image

A wave of revival…A wave of God’s consuming love and power.

Coming to the depths of our hearts and taking us into the depths of His.

I am so in awe of the gift of the Holy Spirit! Thank you Holy Spirit for leading us into the knowledge of God! To KNOW Him and LOVE Him… and from that place I can only believe what God wants to do in our nation! His blood is enough, His love has changed our lives, and we are forever rejoicing!

Next post I will share testimonies of what God has been doing in Southern California!

Stop for the One.

Stop for the One.

Stopping for the one. Jesus, you are the most permeating, amazing example of stopping for the one.

This past week I encountered a woman who was desperate for God. She had nothing left and had reached the lowest point. As I looked into her eyes, I saw Jesus. Through tears, brokenness, fear, and despair the voice of the Lord was shining through this woman saying, “I came to give life, and give life abundantly.” I saw God inhabiting her brokenness. Not hype, not emotional reasoning, but the power of Jesus Christ who came to set the captives free. This is our reality.

We learn from the poor. Jesus, you have taught me riches of the kingdom through the poor. I cannot deny it!

It took me back to a missions trip I went on to Mexico when I was 17. Walking down a dirt road I saw an 80-year-old woman who I decided I would go tell about Jesus. To my surprise she had one look at me and my whole life was transformed. The light in her eyes and joy in her spirit drew me to Jesus. This is not an exaggeration! This changed me! Here I am standing with this woman who in the world’s eyes, has nothing, yet is RICH in the kingdom of God. She knew Jesus. Her joy was contagious, her smile lit up a room and she knew the freedom of her Father. I walked away a changed human. Struck by eternity alive in this beautiful woman. It broke me. I have every good and right book to read, the good music to listen to, and nightly meetings centered around Jesus. BUT I DIDN’T KNOW HIM. I finally grasped John 17:3 in a whole new way. “Now this is eternal life, that they KNOW YOU, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”

The poor teach me. They are my teachers.

Matthew 5:3

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

I am back in Orange County now with the Circuit Rider Team. Excited for this season! Awakening! Harvest!

Psalm 32

Psalm 32

psalm 32

Therefore let everyone who is godly

offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found;

surely in the rush of great waters,

they shall not reach him.

You are a hiding place for me;

you preserve me from trouble;

you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding,

which must be curbed with bit and bridle,

or it will not stay near you.

10  Many are the sorrows of the wicked,

but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord.

11  Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous,

and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

…Jesus…
You surround me with shouts of deliverance!
Been in Kona since March 12th and fly to Orange county March 27th!
Time here has been an abundant blessing from Jesus. Five years ago I did my DTS in Kona, Hawaii. Community Transformations was the school I attended and I absolutely LOVED IT. The heart-beat of the simple gospel permeates the air in this school. I have been so blessed by the leadership of Comm Trans over the past five years and have found it an ABSOLUTE HONOR to be a part of this family!  I came out to lead worship in October 2011 for the Community Transformations DTS and have found and befriended incredible men and women of God that are a true heroes.
They just got back from their outreaches. South Africa, Cambodia, South Sudan, New york, Nepal, and Jordan were all just invaded with feet ready to share the love of Jesus and see captives set free by the power of His name. I am in AWE of the Lord in His perfect leadership over their teams. I look forward to the future involving Community Transformations Schools!
Also, I just posted the Circuit Rider page on my blog! Check it out to see all the dates of each school! And here are come pics from Kona…
Leading worship in the Ohana Court!!!
My Sweet Brother, Steven, is back from South Africa!!!
amazing… amazing friends in Kona right now!

Washington DC :)

Washington DC :)

I arrived in DC a week ago today and it has been nothing short of an eye-opening, heart-awakening experience to believe for what God wants to do in our nation. Our God is a faithful God! Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. For many years I had so much faith that God wanted to feed every child in Africa, save people off the streets, redeem abandoned children to a family, and my faith for that only increases, but I was constantly overlooking the very nation I stand in and thinking about how I could not wait to “GO!” Yet the Lord has placed my feet on this land to witness the power of God touch a nation and see it revived again!

There is something about seeing all the monuments and locations you learn about in school growing up. It was as if the Lord grabbed my heart and said, “Do you believe?!” With joy in my heart I believe for an awakening in America like we have never seen or heard of. The streets filled with the song of salvation, healings overflowing out of hospitals and homes, but more than anything… Souls experiencing the redemption and love of Jesus Christ, our beautiful Lord and Savior! For He has come with healing in His wings and power in His name. He is love and is righteous! Let us all lift our eyes to Jesus, run the race with all endurance, and see the Lord our God blessed as we see a harvest of souls. For His glory and For His name!

This summer there are five Circuit Rider Schools! Just click on the link to find out more information! The first school is June 2-16 in Orlando, FL.

I hope and truly pray that you find yourself resting in God day by day! There is nothing sweeter in our salvation than the pure joy of being able to rest in the triumph of our King. To follow Him as the perfect shepherd and have His Lordship as our daily delight!

Joy of the Journey

Joy of the Journey

The winds of change are blowing! We are in the midst of the most wonderful story as the people of God. I love dwelling on the reality that we are living in-between the first and second coming of Jesus Christ. We live in the moment where we have His saving power rescuing our very lives, His word being written on our hearts, and our lives being aligned with His to walk out His will and see the lost saved while preparing a way for His second coming. What a sweet reality… Catch us up in your story God.

…I arrived in Kona January 15th from Orange County, CA.

Here is a bit of the journey!

Meet some of the family from Orange County. :)

This is a picture from thanksgiving day as we celebrated in complete joy!

Meet the Brennt Family, Sue Gray, and Rick Wilkerson.

This was a small part of our outreach team in Orange County and we are all on board to serve in all the circuit rider schools this summer! The schools start in June and run for two weeks. The locations are Los Angeles, Denver, Orlando, Kansas City, and London! :)

After departing from this incredible family I was off the Kona to lead worship for the corporate DTS week… let the journey continue!

Made it to Kona safely and was so excited to see Kona family again! I arrived in Orange county August 14th 2011 and landed in Kona January 15th 2012 thinking it would be a short trip, but God caught me by surprise and I find myself still in Kona today, February 18th. I love this phrase from Ignatius Loyola,

“Ignatius Loyola described the ideal Jesuit as “living with one foot raised” always ready to respond to emerging opportunities.”

Living with one foot raised… that is a liberating statement for a missionary!

Shortly after I arrived to Kona I rushed straight down to the Marshallese community. About a year ago I began to go spend time with a group of children an hour south of the YWAM base. There is a community from the Marshall Islands that live in Kona. They are some of the most beautiful, hospitable, tender people I have ever met. I always look forward to what God has in store as he continues to pour out His heart for these people.

Random side note about this bag before I move on…

While I was in the airport heading to Kona, an extremely kind woman gave me this bag because the Lord told her to. I was so caught off guard! It was definitely a moment of receiving from the Father! So often we get caught up in being in the giving position that when God turns it and wants us to receive, He simply wants us to always know His great love for us. I was in awe of the simple love of Jesus Christ as He put this new bag in my hand. I love the kingdom. Everything belongs to Him.

After being a part of the corporate DTS week in Kona I began recording! I don’t even know what to write about it other than I want to message of joyful obedience and sweet surrender to cover the globe! He is worth it and He is worthy and encountering Jesus’ love and salvation power will only lead you to want to take up your cross and follow Him. It is a 3-song EP album with three songs that encompass the simple revelation. ‘The sweetest surrender unto the greatest awakening,’ is the title. It has been so much fun! Chloe Brennt, Seth Yates, Kumu Vasconcellos, Christian Fox, and myself have been working as a team to get it all done! It truly has been a team full of joy and courage, lots of laugher and lots of grace.

I successfully just finished this update bright and early on a Saturday morning and now I am off to chat with my beautiful friend Sue Gray from South Africa who is in the picture above!!! Blessings!!!!!!!!!

Matthew 14

Matthew 14

I love discovering the character and nature of Jesus through the word.

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. 14When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”

16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

18 “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

I love Jesus. His love for us eternally abounds! Lately I have been basking in the truth and reality that we are no longer orphans. When I read this in Matthew today I was so struck with the reality of the compassion and restoration Jesus carried in who He is. In the disciples good heartedness to wanted to give Jesus rest and send the people on their way home and to get their own food. Not a thought for Jesus, he says “Give them something to eat.” No food? Than, “Bring them here to me.” He looked to his father, gave thanks and broke the loaves! He fed FIVE THOUSAND, and there were even left overs. Our radiant King, righteous judge, and perfect Father who inhabits all of eternity…sending His son who He emptied out His life for an orphan like me. I can’t find the right words to describe the beauty of the spirit of adoption that Jesus beholds. In his kindness and His mercy he draws us back home.

This Sunday I leave for Kona, Hawaii to the YWAM base. I am so excited to meet all the new DTS students. This is the largest quarter Kona has EVER SEEN! :) Jesus! Raise up the harvesters! January 23-27 all the DTS’s meet as one large group for one week. In this time Loren Cunningham shares the testimony of YWAM and also basic kingdom principles! I have the privilege of leading worship for this week with a lot of really good friends! It was be exciting! My heart is stirring and expectant for all God wants to do.

Rejoice!

Rejoice!

What a great day to be alive!!

“And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” -John 17:3

Jesus! Give our generation a burden for lost souls that no eye has seen and no ear has heard before. Touch our hearts with the reality of heaven and give of faith like Noah as we run the race with our eyes lifted to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Jesus, thank you that by your blood you have brought us close to your heart to move to the rhythms of your heartbeat. Let your kingdom come, and your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

We are approaching the start of 6 Circuit Rider schools this summer in London, Kona, Denver, Orlando, LA, and Kansas City.

Circuit Rider:

a minister who traveled from place to place in an assigned circuit to preach
Their Message:
The kingdom of God has come, repent, be baptized and follow Jesus. Their payment: A mere 60 dollars a year if anything at all. The cost: Their very lives. 50% died before reaching 33 years old. Their reward: Nothing in terms of societal success and yet everything in terms of the glory of God! These leaders lived for a cause greater than themselves. They were dangerous to the enemy, and powerful in the hand of the Almighty God!

The Circuit riders of old were forerunners in their day. The same call is going out again, God is raising up their example for today’s forerunner generation! The mode and methods have changed, but the mandate, message and cost of the Circuit Rider remain the same. The nations are crying out in darkness. Who will go and gather the lost all over the Earth? Who will go and awaken the Church to the joy of living fully alive in Jesus?

A generation is responding like perhaps never before in history. Confident in who Christ has called them to be and what He has given them, they go forth proclaiming freedom to the captives. Knowing the living God through deep friendship and trust in His Word, they gladly lay down their lives. There is immense hope for the hardest and the darkest, as this generation rises to its feet and lays hold of its destiny!

Save, Revive, and Multiply!
